Dawn M. Cox, DO, is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist who specializes in hidden scar surgery, nipple-sparing mastectomies, oncoplastic surgical techniques, and the use of wireless localization technology. Dr. Cox’s compassion and deep understanding of the emotional and physical challenges of a cancer diagnosis were shaped by personal experiences within her own family. Dr. Cox treats every patient with empathy, clarity, and unwavering support.
“My goal is to be a source of comfort and strength, helping my patients feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way,” says Dr. Cox.
Dr. Cox enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a passionate educator and mentor, volunteering her time to provide breast care education at YMCA women’s shelters and supporting aspiring female surgeons through the Association of Women’s Surgeons Student Group.
