Emma Shaffer, MPAS, PA-C, is an advanced practice provider with OHC. She was drawn to the field of oncology after acting as an end-of-life caregiver for her grandparents who suffered from terminal cancer. “I saw how impactful those clinicians were and I knew that was the path for me.”
Emma believes in approaching her patients as an active listener, focusing on providing compassion, patience, and understanding. When describing her patient care philosophy she states, “making my patients feel valued and appreciated is essential.”
When Emma is not seeing patients, she enjoys exercising with her mom at Pure Barre and spending time with her family.
