Jayadev Mettu, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist who believes the foundation of the patient-doctor relationship is communication and collaboration. Dr. Mettu’s areas of special interest include thoracic and genitourinary oncology. Recognizing the rapid evolution of cancer treatment, Dr. Mettu feels privileged to provide his patients the latest information in treatment options and prognosis while surrounding them with compassion during a time of uncertainty.

I was excited to receive the letter announcing that Dr. Mettu is joining the OHC doctors at the Fairfield office where I go. I think every doctor in that office is wonderful! I will be sad when Dr. Weisenberger retires. She has been my doctor over 15 years and has been like family. – N.M., October 2021
