
Kim Mullins, DNP, APRN-BC, AOCNP, is an advanced practice provider at OHC. She was drawn to oncology because it is a specialty that encourages spending time with patients and families to get to know their needs and concerns. She acknowledges that her colleagues at OHC truly work as a team to provide the best care for patients. She is personally committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to help patients journey through a vulnerable time in their lives. Kim’s specialties include breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, radiation oncology, and low-dose radiation for osteoarthritis.
“As a nurse practitioner in radiation oncology, my approach to patient care is rooted in the principles of individualized care, compassion and collaboration,” says Kim. She believes that every patient is unique, and their care should reflect their personal needs, values, and circumstances. She adds, “It is my responsibility to create a supportive environment where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their cancer journey.””
Kim’s areas of special interest include breast cancer treatment and survivorship. In her free time, Kim likes to spend time with her family, train her horse, and exercise.
