OHC Doctors: Kruti Patel, DO

Kruti Patel, DO, is a medical oncologist and hematologist who strives to provide the best comprehensive care for patients by developing a relationship with them and offering compassionate support throughout their journey. Her areas of specialty include medical hematology, clinical research, and bone marrow transplant.  Dr. Patel is the principal investigator for clinical trials focusing on multiple myeloma, leukemia, and the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network.

Dr. Patel finds her work rewarding because she is inspired by the strength patients have as they fight their disease. “It truly is an honor to care for a patient fighting cancer. There can be a lot of ups and downs throughout a patient’s cancer journey, and I have the opportunity to hold their hands and walk with them as they navigate their disease. I care for my patients as if they were my own family members.”

Dr. Patel looks forward to contributing to innovation in the field of oncology through involvement in clinical trials and drug development. “Oncology is an exciting and evolving field. There are new emerging treatments in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and CAR-T.”

In her free time, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
