Infusion_Therapy OHC Services

If your OHC doctor orders infusion therapy as part of your care plan, it means you’ll receive medicine through a needle, port, or catheter into your bloodstream. He or she will discuss the entire process with you before beginning treatment.

At OHC, our highly-trained infusion therapy nurses specialize in the administration of medications and fluids. They monitor your vital signs and watch for any symptoms related to other conditions you have (diabetes, heart disease, pulmonary issues). They’ll make sure you’re warm and comfortable during your treatment.

Treatment sessions can last between one and several hours, and are generally scheduled in one- to three-week intervals.

For more information about infusion therapy, call 1-800-710-4674 and we’d be happy to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors or nurses.
